Our principle

CV Report Share puts the consent and safety of reporters ahead of reviewers. Reporters are often taking a real risk by sharing content, and reviewers are entrusted with treating that content the way the reporter wants it treated.

For reporters

You are in control of your report.

• Share only what you are comfortable sharing.
• Decide who receives a link, and whether your content is watermarked, visible in the data room, or downloadable.
• Report it to us if someone downloads or shares your content without your permission.

This site is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

For reviewers

A reporter has trusted you with this content. In return, we ask you to:

• Treat the content in line with the reporter’s wishes.
• Respect the reporter’s settings and never try to get around them.
• Keep what you see confidential unless the reporter has clearly authorized otherwise.
• Ask questions with care, and do not pressure a reporter to share more than they want to.

Unauthorized download or redistribution

If a reviewer downloads or redistributes a reporter’s content without the reporter’s authorization, that is a violation of both our Terms and Conditions and these guidelines. This includes passing the content along, posting it, or sharing copies of it by any means, on or off the platform.

Reporting a confidentiality violation

Reporters can report unauthorized distribution of their data. Tell us what was shared, who you believe shared it, and when you found out by emailing security@cvreportshare.com.

Fairness and limits

A report starts a review, not a verdict. How organizers and reviewers respond to the conduct described in a report is up to them. We act only on confidentiality violations on this platform, and we are not a court, a crisis service, or a source of legal advice.
